This 3,200 sq. ft. Calgary smart home in the Westpoint neighbourhood has so many wonderful, luxury-level features, it’s a great example of how complete an experience an Adera client can have with a custom designed and installed system. It features six zones of multi-room streaming audio and video managed by an ELAN gSC10 controller, distributed over multiple LED flatscreens throughout the home, and through an array of Speakercraft in-ceiling speakers.
The living room, with its twenty-four foot ceiling, features a wall-mounted 60” LED TV, as well as automated motorized shades by Lutron. As an added touch, we’ve programmed the shades to open and close in a staggered pattern, which is an impressive effect whenever they’re in motion.
The lower level features a media room with a 120” projection screen by Screen Innovations, paired with a JVC D-ILA Reference Series projector. A 7.1 surround sound system utilizing Speakercraft’s AIM Cinema flagship speakers provide theatre quality sound in an open plan space.
Their system also allows them to manage their access control remotely via the internet, monitor their customized DSC security system, as well as see fire and water leak alerts immediately on their smart phones.
