You may not know what Dolby Atmos is, but basically, it allows sound to move in a three-dimensional space, thus breaking away from the long-standing channel setup that we’ve been used to for many years. In order to achieve this, one of the concepts Atmos employs is an overhead dimension, realistically depicting objects moving overhead.
Enter SpeakerCraft’s new Atmos height speaker: the AIM Series 2 ATX100.
With countless hours of development developing drivers, crossovers, and an enclosure specific to this in-wall speaker, the SpeakerCraft team has produced a design that brings the Dolby Atmos experience into an installed environment completely hidden away in the wall. This new speaker will ship in October, and can be paired with either of SpeakerCraft’s two new AIM series 2 LCR In-wall speakers.
